          Parlor Classics Are Back!!

For the second straight summer, Avenue One, along with

ice cream partner Haagen-Dazs, is helping to beat the heat

with the return of its summer dessert menu, Parlor Classics.

 

 

Avenue One's Parlor Classics menu includes:

• Cherries Jubilee Sundae:  Bing cherries with Haagen-Dazs vanilla and chocolate ice cream, cherry brandy syrup, whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings.

• Latte Sundae:  Haagen-Dazs vanilla and coffee ice cream, coffee espresso syrup, chocolate coffee beans and whipped cream.

• Classic Banana Split:  Haagen-Dazs strawberry, vanilla and chocolate ice cream with strawberry, candied pineapple and chocolate sauces, toasted almonds and whipped cream.

• Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwich:  Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream with rich hot chocolate sauce and chocolate chips.

• Mint Julep Sundae:  Haagen-Dazs lemon sorbet, vanilla ice cream, bourbon mint syrup and whipped cream.

• Bananas Foster:  Bananas, freshly prepared banana bread, Haagen-Dazs vanilla and caramel ice cream and caramel rum sauce.

• Hot Apple Cobbler:  Freshly backed apple cobbler served with Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream.

• Piņa Colada Sundae:  Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream with pineapple, guava syrup, whipped cream and roasted coconut.

 

Through August 31, 2007 the Parlor Classics menu will be offered in Avenue One

and through room service at Hyatt Regency Boston.

Avenue One Took a Twist on the Classic Mojito With Four New Flavor Variations

Guests beat the heat this summer with four handmade mojitos-pineapple, pomegranate, orange and tropical. Paying homage to the mojito's Cuban origin, the cocktails were a great escape from city living.

• Pineapple Mojito- Cruzan Rum, pineapple, and lime muddled with mint and topped with soda.

• Pomegranate Mojito- Cruzan Rum, Monin pomegranate and red passion fruit, muddled with mint and topped with soda.

• Orange Mojito- Cruzan Rum, orange and lime muddled with mint and topped with soda.

• Tropical Mojito- Cruzan Rum, peach schnapps, strawberry and lime muddles with mint and topped with soda.
